Frank HURST, 77, for a half century a prominent citizen of Jefferson County, and for a term or two County Supervisor, died suddenly in Libertyville this morning while spraying apple trees.

Born in Washington Co., Pa., in 1847 and came to Jefferson County fifty years ago, settling on a farm a mile or two east of Libertyville. Member Libertyville Presbyterian Church, helped organize the Libertyville Savings Bank....

Leaves widow who was Miss Margaret WILSON, and three sons: Dr. Harry HURST of Centerville, Dr. H. N. HURST of Colorado, and J. V. HURST of Albia.
