MRS. MARGARET HURST. Margaret WILSON, daughter of Hugh and Eliza BOYD WILSON, was born in Fayette Co., Pa., June 1, 1843, and came with her parents to Jefferson County, Iowa Territory, when just a babe, coming to the farm near Libertyville which her father had entered in 1839. Here she grew to womanhood, attended the public schools and later the Academy at Birmingham, Iowa. After this she remained at home with her parents on the farm until Dec. 15, 1887, when she was married to Francis HURST of Libertyville, Iowa, and assumed the responsibility of mother to his children: Margaret B., deceased; Wm. N. of Denver, Colo.; James V. of Albia, Iowa, and Harry E. of Chicago, Ill....
Husband died Apr. 18, 1924. Presby. Ch. She died Sept. 7, 1931, aged 88-3-6. Preceded in death by her older sister, Rebekah B., and her next younger brother, Robert A., and is survived by one brother, William D., and two sisters, Mrs. Caroline STOKES and Mrs. Elvira J. ARMSTRONG, all of Libertyville.... Interment in Fell Cemetery.
