William Ernest HESTON, 61, 612 W. Kirkwood St., died suddenly at his home today. Heart attack.

Born May 1, 1884; married Bertha STANSBERRY in 1903, who survives. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Cross Lanes. Had been in the grocery business since 1932 in the same location on W. Kirkwood St.

Survived by wife and children: Earl Glen of Springhill, Ill.; Pvt. Ernest R. HESTON, U.S. Army, stationed at Amarillo, Texas; Mrs. Rosabelle LANGNER, Mrs. Florence KESSELL, Roy HESTON, Mrs. Kenneth BARBER, all of Fairfield; one brother, Albert of Portland, Ore., two sisters, Mrs. Mary BRYAN, Independence, Kansas, and Mrs. Pearl SMITH, Benedict, Minn.. His mother preceded him in death when he was nine years old, but his stepmother, Mrs. Emma HESTON, Fairfield, survives. Preceding him in death was a brother, Lorenzo HESTON, who died June 6, 1944, and a sister, Rosa, several years ago. Hoskins Funeral Home. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
