J. E. (sic) HESTON RITES MONDAY

James F. HESTON, 67, 700 West Hempstead, life-long Fairfield resident, passed away this morning at 7 a.m. at the Jefferson county hospital, where he was taken Sunday night when he became seriously ill. He had been in poor health for some time.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral Home, with Rev. S. P. Wiliamson in charge. Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. HESTON wvas (sic) born in Fairfield Dec. 9 (sic - 4th), 1877, where he spent his entire life. He was married to Lizzie FOWLER, November 28, 1901, who survives.

Other survivors are his four children: Mrs. Forrest GRAMMAR, Ottumwa, Harry of Fairfield, Pfc. Glen of Chanute Field, Ill., and Robert of Clear Lake; six grandchildren, and two brothers, Charles and Luther of this city. One daughter, Mildred FEHY, preceded him in death 19 years ago.

Note: Buried in Lot SDiv.2-016. Wife Mary Elizabeth 'Lizzie' FOWLER HESTON died in 1947 and was buried with him.
