Mrs. BAGBY Dies

Mrs. Tom BAGBY, 309 S. Court St., died this morning at University Hospital in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are pending.

BAGBY Funeral Will Be Monday

Last rites will be Monday for Mrs. Tom BAGBY who passed away at 10:10 a.m. Friday at the University Hospital Iowa City following surgery.

The services Monday will be at 10 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. D. O. Van Dyne in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Inez BAGBY, 65, was born Sept. 12, 1903, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Charles and Sarah AMOS HESTON. She was married to Thomas L. BAGBY on Sept. 12, 1923, in Fairfield.

She had lived her entire life in the Fairfield Community and the family home is located at 309 S. Court.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. BAGBY is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Wilma MOORE, Mrs. Maxine TARRENCE and Mrs. Doris GOWEY, all of Fairfield; and five grandchildren.

Eight brothers and sisters also survive. They are Lee HESTON, Knoxville. Fred HESTON, Agency; William HESTON, Fairfield; Mrs. Edith CASE, Davenport; Fay HESTON, Rock Island; Floyd HESTON, Davenport; Mrs. Nellie SOURS, Davenport; and Mrs. Viola WHITE, Rock Island.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

The public works office and the city clerk's office at the City Hall will be closed Monday morning for Mrs. BAGBY's funeral. She was the mother-in-law of Robert MOORE, director of public works.
