Died Today Following Operation In Mt. Pleasant, Burial Here SundayMrs. Effie ANDERSON, wife of J. A. ANDERSON of Mt. Pleasant, former residents, died this morning at nine oclock at the Henry County hospital where she was operated on for appendicitis. The funeral services will be held in this city Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Christian church in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly. The remains will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. ANDERSON was formerly Miss Effie HESTON and she was born west of Fairfield July 23, 1893 (sic - 1892 per her gravestone and the 1900 census). Besides her sorrowing husband and little daughter, Irma Ruth, who will be four years of age in November, she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. HESTON of one mile north of the city. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters:
Fay HESTON of Glasgow; Mrs. Jess SHELTON of Batavia, Fred HESTON, William HESTON, LeRoy HESTON, Floyd HESTON, Miss Inez HESTON, Miss Edith HESTON and Viola HESTON all of near Fairfield.
Mr. and Mrs. ANDERSON resided west of this city on the Gantz place for about six years and the past three years they have made their home in Mt. Pleasant.

The funeral services for Mrs. J. A. ANDERSON of Mt. Pleasant will be held in this city tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 oclock from the Christian church in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly. Interment will take place in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. ANDERSON, who was formerly Miss Effie HESTON of Fairfield, died yesterday morning at nine o'clock in the Henry county hospital following an operation there last Friday evening for appendicitis.

Mrs. William Stever and Mrs. Norvel Switzer sang the songs, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", "Gathering Home", and Drifting Down the Valley One By One". Burial took place in Evergreen cemetery.
