Louis A. HESTON, 77, 207 E. Broadway, passed away at 12:30 a.m. today at Jefferson County Hospital where he was admitted at 3:55 p.m. Friday.
Last rites will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Rex Douglass officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Raymond Funeral Home to the church at 1 p.m.
Louis A. HESTON was born May 10, 1891, near Battle Creek, Iowa, the son of Phineas and Martha LIVINGSTON HESTON.
He was reared and educated in the Libertyville community after moving there at the age of two. He was married to Birtie CARL on Nov. 18, 1914 at Bloomfield.
HESTON was a member of the Nazarene Church, National Rural Letter Carriers Association. He was a retired rural mail carrier.
Survivors include his wife, one niece and one nephew. He was preceded in death by one son, Chester, and a daughter, Virginia DIMMICK. and three brothers.
