Louis A. HESTON, 77, 207 E. Broadway, died 12:30 a.m. today at Jefferson County Hospital. Last rites Mon. 2 p.m. at Church of the Nazarene. Bur. Evergreen Cemetery. Raymond Funeral Home.

Born May 10, 1891, near Battle Creek, Iowa, son of Phineas and Martha LIVINGSTON HESTON; reared and educated in the Libertyville community after moving there at the age of 2. Married Birdie CARL Nov. 18, 1914, at Bloomfield. Member Nazarene Church; National Rural Letter Carriers Assn. Was a retired rural mail carrier.

Survivors include his wife, one niece and one nephew. Preceded in death by one son, Chester, and a daughter, Virginia DIMMICK, and three brothers.
