ELDON, IOWA. Jay J. HAYDEN, 66, Eldon farmer and stockman, father of Mrs. J. O. CLINGAN of Fairfield, died at Ottumwa Hospital Friday night.

Burn July 23, 1891, in Jefferson County, son of James F. and Mary LAUGHLIN HAYDEN. Member Eldon Methodist Church.

Homesteaded in South Dakota when a young man and had engaged in farming and stock raising most his life. He was also in the farm implement business in Eldon for several years.

Married Eunice SUTHERLIN Apr. 28, 1915. She survives with three daughters and three sons: Mrs. Harold JAMESON, Bremerton, Wash.; Mrs. CLINGAN, Fairfield; Mrs. Wayne GRAY, Leonard and Maynard HAYDEN, Des Moines; and Adrian HAYDEN, Green Bay, Va. Also surviving are six grandchildren; one brother, art HAYDEN, Selma; and three sisters, Mrs. Paul ALLMAN and Elizabeth HAYDEN, Corona del Mar, Calif., and Mrs. Richard ALLEN, Cottonwood, Ariz. He was preceded in death by one son, a brother and three sisters. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tues. at Campbell Funeral Home at Eldon... Burial in Fell Cemetery.
