Page 8Mrs. Floyd GOEPEL, 68, was dead on arrival at Jefferson County Hospital after suffering an attack on the west side of the Fairfield square Thurs. 4:30 p.m.. Behner Funeral Home. Burial in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville.
Mattie GOEPEL was born June 10, 1900, near Martinsburg, daughter of Edward and Ida GULLETT WEAVER; married Aug. 25, 1919, Floyd H. GOEPEL, and they made their home on a farm two miles north of Libertyville. She had lived in the Libertyville community for almost 50 years. Member Methodist Church in Libertyville, active in Farm Bureau work...
Survived by husband, one daughter Mrs. Walter TIEMEIER of Burlington, and one son, Duane GOEPEL of Ottumwa; one brother, Glenn WEAVER of Artesia, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Jessie HARRIES of Kennewick, Wash.; five grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
