KILLED BY A RUNAWAY. David FRY, in the 71st year of his age. Born in Clermont Co., Ohio, and grew to manhood there, came to Iowa in 1840 in company with Timothy DAY, a well known early settler of Van Buren County, and remained there with that gentleman for three years. Then he removed to Cedar Township, this county, settling on a farm on which he lived until nearly two years ago...
Aug. 28, 1843, married Miss Harriet FORDYCE, sister of Hon. Lewis FORDYCE of this county.... Funeral will occur today and the remains will be taken to the Bethany Church cemetery, two miles east of Winchester, Van Buren County, for interment. Seven children living.....
