Mrs. Stella THOMPSON GALLUP of Libertyville died this morning at Jefferson County Hospital. Born Mar. 8, 1875. Survived by husband, W. K. GALLUP, and two sons, Lee and Howard.

Stella Cora, daughter and third child of Lewis H. and Hettie RODIBAUGH THOMPSON, born four miles n.w. of Birmingham, Iowa, Mar. 8, 1875, where she grew to womanhood.

On Dec. 25, 1894, married Wm. K. GALLUP. They established their home in the home community. Two sons, Lee and Howard, came to cheer their home. She united with Bethel M.E. Church in 1904 and when they established their home in Libertyville transferred.... Entered into eternal rest Aug. 18, 1927, aged 52-5-10.

Leaves husband, two sons, one daughter in law, Mrs. Lee GALLUP, two granddaughters, Helen and Nonna Lee GALLUP; three sisters, Mrs. Rose DAVIS who lives near Abingdon, Iowa; Mrs. Ida PETERSON of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Lillie BONNETT of Birmingham, Iowa; also two brothers, Wm. THOMPSON of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Otis THOMPSON of Birmingham, Iowa.... Fell Cemetery.

Messrs. Willis Dustin, Grant McKee, Art Johnson of Birmihgham, Will Lawson of Fairfield, and Pearl Kirkheart and Abe Schwartz of Libertyville, friends and schoolmates, were pall bearers....

(See V.8 for her parents. Esther (or "Hattie") was daughter of Joseph and Catherine EICHELBARGER RODABAUGH. Catherine, born in Penn. 6 Nov. 1822, died 21 July 1898; buried Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham, Iowa. Joseph, born March 16, 1818 in Montgomery Co., Ohio. Went to Calif. in 1905. Died 22 Nov. 1912 Watsonville, Calif.; buried at Watsonville.)
