Mr. FRY went to Eldon from a farm at County Line some 25 years ago and was in the FRY & SPRINGER grocery for some time. He then joined J. W. FRY in the same business in Fairfield. For a short time he conducted a hotel at Brighton, and also lived about two years in Ottumwa. Except for these breaks Mr. FRY has been in the grocery business in Fairfield for about 20 years. Much of this time has been in the New Chicago Grocery. Mr. FRY was a Civil War veteran, being a member of Co. F, 3d Ia. Cavalry. Six of the members of his company will act as pall bearers.
