Fred M. FRY... on the cars between El Paso and Ft. Worth, Texas, about noon Wed. Had been a sufferer from consumption for a year or more past, and left this city for the south early in February in the hope that a change of climate might improve his health....
J. M. FRY, father of the dead man, met the remains at Ft. Worth and took them to Libertyville, where they were interred in the Fell Cemetery Friday.
Born and grew to manhood in the vicinity of Libertyville, and was married to Miss Lizzie CLINKENBEARD at that place in 1892.... For several years he had been in the employ of the C.R.I. & P. Railway company as telegraph operator and agent, and was employed at the station in this city for three or four years. He was a bright and capable young man, thoroughly conversant with his business, and of the strictest integrity. While in Fairfield he formed a very extensive acquaintance and bore the high regard and esteem of all who came in contact with him.
His wife and two children, one a babe of three weeks, survive.
*Transcribed for genealogy purposes; I have no relation to the person(s).
Note: His widow Lizzie remarried to Charles W. LEPPO, and they are also buried in Fell Cemetery.
