MRS. GEORGE FOWLER DIED HERE TODAY.

Mr. (sic - Mrs.) George FOWLER, oldest living member of the Fairfield Presbyterian church, passed away at 1:00 p.m. at her home three and one half miles northwest of the city. On account of her advanced age her death was not unexpected. The funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 o'clock.

MRS. FOWLER FUNERAL SUNDAY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Geo. FOWLER were held yesterday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at the home, four miles northwest of the city, in charge of Rev. W. R. Keesey. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.

Anna Barabra (sic) FOWLER was born in Ohio, April 15, 1827. She moved to this county in 1845 and has since made her home here.

On March 5, 1846, she was united in marriage to George FOWLER, who passed away in 1908. To this union were born seven children, all of whom survive her, with the exception of Edward, who died several years ago. Those surviving are: Samuel FOWLER, of this city; Franklin FOWLER, of Muscatine, Mrs. Esther HUSS, of Afton, and Misses Katherine, Hannah and Lizzie FOWLER, of this city. She is also survived by two brothers, Samuel and Ben. ZEIGLER, both of California.

Mrs. FOWLER has been in poor health for about four years, but the immediate cause of her death was cerebral hemorrhage.

DEATHS

FOWLER.

Mrs. George FOWLER died at her home four miles northwest of this city Friday, following an extended illness, at the age of 90 years.

Mrs. FOWLER was born in Ohio but had been a resident of this county since 1845. She was the widow of George FOWLER, who died in 1908. Six children survive her ,one (sic) of whom, Samuel FOWLER, lives near Fairfield, and with whom she made her home. The remaining children are Franklin, of Muscatine; Mrs. Esther HUSS, of Afton; Hannah, Katherine and Lizzie, all of Fairfield.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday a tthe (sic) home by Rev. Keesey and burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.
