Vivian Retha Kessel Joynt Outland

Vivian Retha Kessel Joynt Outland died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Taylor House Hospice, Altoona, Iowa.

She was born August 4, 1933, in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph Joseph and Retha Goldie Smith Kessel. She married Michael Joynt, June 21, 1951 and was later divorced. She married Lloyd Outland May 20, 1977 and he died August 21, 2005.

She had lived in Carlisle, IA for over 30 years. She enjoyed camping and fishing

Vivian is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons: Catherine Labath, Long Grove, IA; Deborah Lang, Davenport, IA; Kerry Joynt, Whitehouse, TN; Steve Joynt, Bonita Springs, FL; Theresa Gargiulo, Aptos, CA; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Vivian requested that no services be held and no obituary be published. Her body was cremated and remains will be buried at a later date next to her husband in the Carlisle Cemetery.
