WAS A PIONEER OF JEFFERSON COUNTY. Ellen CARTER FAMULENER was born in Jan. 1838 in Jefferson County; married Jan 15 1863 to John FAMULENER who died at the home of a daughter Mrs. T. B. LEWIS June 3 1901.

Eight children born, two of whom are still living -- John of Canada, and Mrs. T. B. LEWIS. She also leaves three brothers, John CARTER of Kansas, T.H. and W.E. CARTER of Libertyville; also 4 grandchildren. Member Presbyterian Church since childhood.
