Grant M. ENLOW, 89, a lifetime resident of Van Buren and Jefferson Counties, died suddenly at 8 a.m. today.
He was stricken at the Nelson Nursing Home where he had been a patient since January, 1966, and died enroute to the hospital.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. E. Wayne Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).
ENLOW was born July 14, 1878 at Birmingham, the son of William H. and Laura STONEBRAKER ENLOW. In 1909 he moved to a farm southwest of Fairfield where he operated a dairy. He also served as a dealer in Guernsey cows until his retirement in 1947.
ENLOW is survived by one son, Cloyce, and one daughter, Louise. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
