LIBERTYVILLE, Ia. -- Bert W. ELDER, 79, lifetime resident of the Libertyville community, died Sunday morning at his home here. Retired Rock Island RR employe... Burial will be in Fell Cemetery. Campbell Funeral Chapel.

Born July 6, 1886, in Jefferson County, son of Noble and Margaret EVANS ELDER; married Mary PIXLEY Aug. 4, 1931.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret HALL, Knoxville; one son, Bert W. ELDER, Edgewater, Fla.; and 5 grandchildren. One brother and one sister are deceased. Member of the K. of P. Lodge of Libertyville.
