J. W. COMINGORE DIED SUNDAY
Former Fairfield resident passed away at daughter's home

John W. COMINGORE died Sunday morning at Shreveport, La., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. E. HEADY.

Mr. COMINGORE was 78 years of age having been born in Libertyville, Iowa, August 29, 1861. He was the son of Levi COMINGORE and Hannah WATKINS. He lived practically all his life in Jefferson county.

The body will arrive here early Tuesday morning over the Rock Island lines and will be taken to the Murray funeral home. Services will be held there, probably Wednesday afternoon.

He was married to Miss Flora B. DAY Dec. 25, 1889 in Fairfield. To them were born four children. They are: Mrs. R. E. HEADY, Shreveport, La.; Clifford E. and Mrs. Walter CHAPIUS (sic - CHAPUIS) both of Fairfield; Fred L. of Moline, Ill. Mrs. COMINGORE died Aug. 20, 1935.

For about 30 years he was a faithbul employee of the Iowa Malleable Iron Co. here. He retired about five years ago. He suffered a stroke about that time ha dnot (sic) been in good health since.

Services For J. W. COMINGORE To Be Wednesday

Funeral services for John W. COMINGORE, former Fairfield resident who died at Shreveport, La. will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson from the Murray funeral home.

Mrs. R. E. HEADY of Shreveport, La., arrived in Fairfield this morning.

For about 30 years, Mr. COMINGORE had been an employee of the Iowa Malleable Iron company in Fairfield. He suffered a stroke about five years ago and since that time has not been in good health.
