Dr. Charles CARTER, this morning. Professor of biology and geology at Parsons for 36 years.... Appointed Dean of the college Mar. 1, 1941..... Member First Presbyterian Church....

Born at Libertyville, Iowa, Aug. 9, 1869. Surviving are his wife, the former Merle WRIGHT, and one daughter, Joan, a freshman student at Parsons.....

Note: Buried in Fell Cemetery with wife Merle who died in 1988. Although his obituary notes he was born in 1869, his gravestone has 1871 for a birth year.
