TWO PIONEERS OF JEFFERSON BURIED

Fairfield, Ia., Oct. 3- Funeral services for Charles H. Peterson who passed away suddenly Friday morning in the home of his brother, Eldin Peterson, Madison, Wis., at the age of 69 years, were held Sunday afternoon in the Upland church, south of Lockridge. The Rev. C.E. Vanderpool officiated, and the burial took place in the cemetery near the church. He had been spending the past year at the home of his brother in Wisconsin. Beside the brother Mr. Peterson leaves two sisters, Mrs. George Sturgis, and Miss Dorothy Peterson, Madison, Wis.
