TWO FAIRFIELD WOMEN CALLED
Mrs. Sandford Zeigler, Sr., and Mrs. Johanna Quick Are Summoned

Fairfield, Ia., Aug. 16 - Mrs. Sanford Zeigler, Sr., aged 60 years, died yesterday after an illness of a few days having been stricken Tuesday evening with apoplexy. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the home and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Zeigler is survived by her husband and nine children: Sanford, Jr.; Mrs. Clarence Gorman, Raymond, Harold, Clarence, Misses Ariel, Ruth and Florence of Fairfield and Mrs. Harold Hallberg, Ottumwa. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Pyle, Aurora, Ill., who has been visiting at the Zeigler home here for the past two weeks and four brothers, Peter Bowers, Los Angeles, Cal.; Adam, Enid, Okla; William, Fort Collins, and Joseph, Farmington.

Mrs. Zeigler, who formerly was Ella Bowers, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bowers of Farmington. She was born there March 30, 1867, and was married to Sanford Zeigler Jan. 1, 1891.
