Fairfield, Ia., March 19- Mrs. W.B. Holcomb, aged 70 years, passed away Friday at her home, 500 South Third street after an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Holcomb was born in Kankakee, Ill., March 26, 1857, and her maiden name was Margaret Worrell. She was married to W.B. Holcomb who preceded her in death eight years ago. Seven children were born to them, two of whom died in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Holcomb came to Jefferson county about 30 years ago residing on a farm north of Fairfield ten years, after which they moved here.

Mrs. Holcomb is survived by five sons, John, Fresno, Calif.; Frank, Cedar Rapids; Claude, Detroit, Mich.; and William P. and Harold, both of this city. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. P.E. Clappeaddle, and a brother, Lincoln Worrell, of Kankakee, Ill.
