PASSING OF MRS. A. R. BEALE

Funeral services for Mrs. A. R. BEALE, who passed away yesterday (sic - Wednesday the 3rd) at the Jefferson County Hospital, are being held this afternoon at two o'clock at the home of her daughter Mrs. O. S. WILSON, near Libertyville and with whom she made her home.

The services will be conducted by Rev. R. T. Butler of this city and Rev. Behrens of Libertyville. Interment will take place in Winsell cemetery.

Those attending from this place were Mr. and Mrs. George Bowers, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Carter, Miss Maggie Pollock, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Wilson.

Mrs. BEALE was aged about 65 years and is well known here. She is survived by three daughters and one son, Alvin BEALE, Mrs. O. S. WILSON, Mrs. Floyd EYESTONE and Mrs. Allan PEARSON. Her husband preceded her in death.

LIBERTYVILLE

Sarah LAUGHLIN-BEALE was born in Des Moines township. She was the daughter of David and Deborah LAUGHLIN and died at the Jefferson County Hospital on Wednesday, March 3rd, after a brief illness. She was age 65 years of age (sic - 71 yrs). Her husband A. R. BEALE preceded her in death several years ago. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Floyd EYESTONE of Fairfield, Mrs. Allan PEARSON and Mrs. Orville WILSON of Libertyville, and a son, Alvin, of Libertyville, one sister, Mrs. W. D. WILSON of Libertyville and two brothers, Alexander C. of Stansberry, Mo., and Hugh M. of Douds-Leando. Her brother John preceded her in death just nine days she having attended his funeral less than a week before her death. She also leaves a number of other relatives. In her death the family have lost a devoted Christian mother and the community a kind and sympathetic friend beloved by all who knew her. She was a member of the M. E. church. Her funeral was held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the home of her daughter Mrs. Orville WILSON with whom she had spent a part of the winter. She had not been considered serious until a few days before her death although she had been in poor health for several months. The services were conducted by Rev. R. T. Butler of Fairfield and Rev. J. C. Behrens of Libertyville and interment was in the Winsell cemetery.
