LIBERTYVILLE. Mrs. Bessie ARMSTRONG, 83, Libertyville, died Tues. at Fairfield Convalescent Home. Raymond Funeral Home. Burial in Fell Cemetery.

Born Feb. 10, 1886, in Keokuk County, daughter of Theodore and Molly McCREERY EYESTONE; reared and educated at Martinsburg and spent 65 years of her life in the Libertyville Community; married Purl ARMSTRONG Dec. 23, 1908, at Mt. Zion; he died Mar. 20, 1936. Member Libertyville Methodist Church. She cooked in the Libertyville schools for a number of years.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Carl JENKINS, Libertyville; one granddaughter, Mrs. Gary ALLEMAN, Lewisville, Texas; two greatgrandsons, one brother, Fred EYESTONE, Nashua, Minn.; and one sister, Mrs. Velma DUSTIN, Fairfield. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
