EDGAR VORHEIS PASSES AWAY.

Edgar VORHEIS, 80, Lockridge, well-known retired Jefferson County farmer, passed away last night at 6 p.m. at the Henry County Memorial Hospital...Surviving besides his wife are the following children: Miss Rhea VORHEIS of Washington, D.C.; Elbert V. of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Ray, Verne, Sam, Otto, Merlin, Carroll, and Mrs. Carl LARSON, all of the Lockridge community, and Wayne VORHEIS and Mrs. Lloyd HILLMAN, both of Fairfield, 31 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons. The body is at the Cookes Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant pending arrangements.
