MRS. KATHERINE BENACH DIED TUESDAY.

Mrs. Katherine BENACH (sic - BANACH) passed away Tuesday night at 11:30 o'clock at her home near Pleasant Plain, after an illness of five weeks.

The funerl (sic) services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the St. Mary's Catholic church at Pleasant Plain in charge of Rev. Ostroski and the remains will be interred in the cemetery near by.

Mrs. BANACH was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin ZAHARIS and was born in Germany on Nov. 24, 1851, being at the time of her death 64 years, 11 months and 13 days old. The father has preceded her in death but her aged mother still survives. In 1880 the family moved to Jefferson county, where they have since resided. She leaves three brothers and two sisters, who are as follows: Louis ZAHARIS of East Pleasant Plain; John ZAHARIS of Washington, D.C.; Frank ZAHARIS of Wisconsin; Mrs. STAGER of Berea, Ohio; and Mrs. Ban DURA of Nebraska.

Besides her husband, John BANACH, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. P. J. WITKOSKI of Fairfield; Mrs. Katherine HELVICK, Miss Helen KASMARK, Mrs. Margaret WALSH, Mrs. Marie McGuire and John KASMARK of Cleveland, Ohio, and Toney KASMARK of Pleasant Plain. One child, who died in infancy, has preceded her in death.

Many friends will sympathize with the sorrowing family in the death of this good woman.
