BATAVIA. Sarah Katherine (Katie) WILSON, 86, died at her home one mile west of Batavia at 2:45 a.m. Sun. Died on the same farm where she was born.

Born Jan. 19, 1878, in Wapello County, daughter of William and Martha Jane HUTTON WILSON. She had served as teacher in the rural schools in this community for about 40 years and also taught two years in Kansas.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Olive ANDERSON and Mrs. Laura URFER, both of Batavia; three brothers, Henry WILSON, Libby, Mont.; Jerry WILSON, Batavia; and John WILSON, Oak Lawn, Ill.. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
