On March 8, 1927, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. WILSON celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary.
Mrs. WILSON has been an invalid unable to walk for eighteen years, during ten of which she was confined to her bed. She was afflicted with rheumatism and for the past eight months she has suffered intensely with gall stones and other complications.
She was always so kind and patient, always thinking first of the comforts of others. She never complained, saying "What can't be cured must be endured."
The funeral services were held from the home at 2 o'clock Friday A.M. March 9, 1928 conducted by Rev. O. L. Allison of the Methodist church of Batavia. Music was furnished by a quartette composed of Mrs Sadie Boysel, Mrs Bessie Boysel, P.D. Morley and Fritz Nehre.
The floral offerings were many and beautiful attesting to the love and high esteem in which Mrs WILSON was held by all who knew her.
The remains were interred in the Batavia Cemetery...
