Mrs. W. J. WILLIS, aged and highly respected lady of this community, died at her home on the south side Sat. Apr. 14, 1917.... The WILLISes have lived at Batavia for the past four years, moving here from Richland.

Susannah PECK was born in Belmont Co., Ohio, Feb. 6, 1842, being at time of death 75-2-8. Married Oct. 11, 1872; six children, three preceded the mother in death.

Remaining are the husband and three children: Lane of Minneapolis, Minn.; Orval of Batavia, and Luella PICKEREL of Mt. Pleasant; two grandchildren; two brothers, J. T. PECK of Seattle, Wash.; and W. C. PECK of Rock Island, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie BERRY and Mrs. Jennie HUTCHINSON of Ohio. Member United Presbyterian Church. Interment in Batavia Cemetery.
