BATAVIA. Mrs. Nellie WALKER 90th birthday. Home of son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne WALKER. Born Feb. 4, 1882, in Jefferson County, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan CAVINESS; married Jesse WALKER in 1900 and has spent all of her life in this community. The couple farmed south of Batavia until WALKER became associated with the Batavia elevator in 1942; he died in 1951. She is a member Batavia U.M. Church.

Three sons, Ernest WALKER of Fairfield; Lawrence WALKER of Burlington and Wayne WALKER of Batavia. An older son, Glenn, died in 1969, and another son, Carl, died in infancy. Mrs. WALKER has 11 grandchildren, 28 grgrchn and 4 grgrgrchn.
