The cremated remains of Mr. John Wesley SAMPSON, who died in Pomona, Calif., not long ago in the 83d year of his age, will be buried in the CLARKE family lot in Evergreen Cemetery at Fairfield Thurs. evening, May 26.
He came to Jefferson County as a small boy with his parents, grew to manhood on a farm a few miles n.e. of Fairfield. Here and in Batavia and in Fairfield he lived a great part of his life; married Mary CLARKE, daughter of Dr. Chas S. CLARKE. She is now ill in Calif. and cannot be present at the interment. Children....
