William H. BLACK, Age 42, Residence, Jefferson County, Iowa; Nativity, Indiana, enlisted as a private, Feb. 22, 1864, in Co. K, 7th Iowa Volunteer Infantry Regiment; mustered out July 12, 1865, at Louisville, Kentucky. He was born Oct. 2, 1822, in Vigo County, Indiana; married 22 Dec. 1842, in Coles County, Illinois, Evaline LAUGHLIN, by Samuel C. Ashmore, J.P. Evaline (LAUGHLIN) BLACK was born in "East Tennessee."
