Numerous ACTON tombstones noted in Ashland Cemetery, near the Cardinal School, between Eldon and Highway #34, in Wapello County, including:

ACTON, James, died Oct. 25, 1865, Aged 75y. & 8m. (Flag holder; war of 1812?)
ACTON, Elizabeth, wife of James, died Feb. 25, 1858, Aged 70-5-3.
ACTON, Father - James J., 1848-1923 (V8, p.358) [County Death Records?]
ACTON, Mother - Mary L. (PUMPHREY), 1851-1943
