“Jefferson County Record,” by Orville & Mary Prill; Vol. 7, page 315:

Henry Harrison Scott went to the gold fields and never returned, having been murdered, report said. (Batavia News, Oct. 18 1917.) She [Sarah F. (Peters) Scott] married, 2nd, in 1868, George A. Campbell, and 3rd, in 1917, Andrew Gantz. She is bur. Evergreen Cem. with second husband.
