Probate of Will.

Notice is hereby given to all persons interested, that a paper purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Frances E. EATON, deceased, late of Jefferson county, Iowa, was read in open Court on the first Monday of April, 1866, and that the same was set for hearing and proof at the office of the County Judge of said county on Monday, the 7th day of May, 1866, at 10 o'clock A.M., at which time all persons interested will be heard.

EXECUTORS' NOTICE.

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned were on the 8th day of May, A D 1866, appointed by the County Court of Jefferson county, iowa, Executors under the Will of Frances E. EATON, deceased, late of said county. All persons indebted to said estate will make payment to the undersigned, and those having claims against the same will present them for allowance.

Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in Lot Old.P.066. Her maiden name was JORDAN, she being a daughter of Clement JORDAN and his wife Eliza DYER JORDAN, who founded Evergreen Cemetery and whose family has a large area of the cemetery known as Jordan Circle. Frances was born March 9, 1823, in Maine; and was married to a Henry EATON in November, 1848, in Portland, Maine. Frances died March 23, 1866. What happened to Henry is unknown at the time of this posting.
