A SAD TRAGEDY. We regret to be called upon to record a fatal affray that occurred in Round Prairie township on Saturday last. It appears that Mr. Hardin Butler had started for a load of wood, his son accompanying him with a gun. On the road he was shot at with a revolver three times by a Mr. Woodard, who was about to fire the fourth time, when Butler snatched the gun off his son’s shoulder, and shot Woodard through the left breast, killing him. Butler delivered himself up. The difficulty originated in some private quarrel.
