James and Joan SALTS to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary on May 31

James and Joan (HUDGEL) SALTS will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, May 31. James and Joan were married May 31, 1970 at the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield by the Rev. Wilson Hyde.

They have one son, Joel (Mindy) and five grandchildren of Kansas City, Kansas. Joan was the business/computer instructor and yearbook advisor for 37 years at the Keota Junior-Senior High School. She retired in 2007.

James was a member of the Iowa National Guard and retired in 2002. No celebration is being held at this time.
