FOR SALE – ONE OF THE BEST FARMS. The subscriber will dispose of one of the most desirable estates in Iowa. This property is situated 6 miles South-East of Fairfield, County Seat of Jefferson County; 3 miles to nearest station on B. & M. R.R. Containing 920 acres of the very best quality of land; over 500 acres are enclosed in cultivation, clover, timothy and blue grass pastures; about 200 acres in timber. There is no farm of its size better calculated for a stock farm, having plenty of water and the best outside range for stock adjoining. The main building, occupied by the proprietor, 18 x 60 feet, containing seven rooms, with kitchen attached; stabling, sheep sheds and other necessary buildings; an orchard containing over 200 full bearing apple trees of the most choice fruit in the State; over 200 stands 4-year old grape vines in bearing and in a flourishing condition. There are two tenant houses on the farm. This property will be offered at private sale, including a No. 1 Steam Saw Mill, for $25,000. If not sold privately, will be offered at public sale on Saturday, 26th day of May. Sale to commence at 10 o’clock A.M.
