Page 2GOHNs celebrate 73rd anniversary
Oliver and Helen GOHN of Fairfield will celebrate their 73rd wedding anniversary Friday.
Oliver GOHN and Helen CRAWFORD were joined in marriage Aug. 31, 1945, at the Baptist church in Fairfield.
Mr. GOHN served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and as postmaster in the communities of Fairfield and Emmetsburg.
Mrs. GOHN worked in the Fairfield school district and assisted her husband with his woodcrafts, which they enjoyed selling at craft shows and fairs.
The GOHNs are the parents of Terri RIVERA of Indiana, and Randy GOHN of Phoenix, Arizona. They are grandparents of eight and great-grandparents to several more children.
