Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stephenson, 50th Wedding anniversary. Married in Lockridge Township at the home of Mrs. Stephenson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hopkirk, May 15 1856. They resided in Coalport where Robert was the postmaster. Civil War, in Co. M. 4th Cavalry. Moved to this city in 1879, he having been elected county treasurer. Four children living: Dr. R. B. Stephenson, Libertyville; Ralph, Waterloo, Iowa; John Stephenson and Mrs. Flora Bolts, Fairfield.
