A RELIC. UNCLE BILLY FULTON has resurrected a queer relic in the shape of a little green covered pamphlet 4 ½ x 6 ½ inches, consisting of 32 pages, and bearing this title, on an inside page only: “A Bill of Prices. Adopted by the Carpenters and Joiners of Fairfield, Iowa, April 25, 1848.” It is an exceedingly primitive appearing job of printing, and the prices are curiosities. Most of them would make the mouth of a modern mechanic water. The parties signing the bill were: B. B. TUTTLE, THOMAS BARTHOLOMEW, DANIEL MCDONALD, NATHANIEL MARLOW, E. H. WHITMORE, W. W. BARTHOLOMEW, WM. BARNWELL, JOHN MCLEERY, R. P. TELFORD, WM. M. MORAN, PHILIP HUFFMAN (HOFFMAN), ROBERT HILL, GEO. CRA(I)NE, JAMES FAGAN, JOHN THOMPSON, M. B. CASE, E. T. HARDIN, J. B. GOSSAGE, JAMES A. CUNNINGHAM, SAMUEL DICKSON.
