“The Ledger last evening noted that the house at the east end of Broadway was being torn down and that it was old and its builder unknown. I recall a conversation I had with Judge Leggett some ten years ago in which he said that it was occupied in the early ‘50’s by Judge Cyrus Olney and my impression is that he thought Olney built the house, and sold it about 1855 and went to California.....”
