SLOAN celebrating 80th birthday

Janet SLOAN of Batavia will be celebrating her 80th birthday Aug. 25.

Mrs. SLOAN was born Aug. 25, 1937, in Eldon. She retired from Rockwell International in 1996. She has two children, David SLOAN of West Branch and Dana TYLER with husband Jamie of LeClaire. She also has four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A card shower is planned to help Mrs. SLOAN celebrate. Cards can be sent to 2235 Fir Ave., Batavia 52533.
