KESSELs renewing wedding vows

David and Charlotte KESSEL of Fairfield are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They will be renewing their vows at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield.

Charlotte SIRDOREUS and David KESSEL were married July 22, 1967, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Cletus Madson presiding.

David KESSEL is employed at True Value in Fairfield, and Charlotte KESSEL is a child care provider.

The KESSELs are parents of three children: Robert and wife Sarah of Fairfield, Paul of Pleasant Plain, and Lauri of Oskaloosa. They are the grandparents of five, and the great-grandparents of one.
