DECKERs celebrating 50th anniversary

Terry and Dixie DECKER of Libertyville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married June 8, 1967, in Grinnell. He is a Fairfield native, and she grew up in Nashua. They have made their home together in Fairfield and the surrounding community for over 45 years.

Mr. DECKER is retired from John Deere, and Mrs. DECKER works part time cleaning homes. They are active members of Ottumwa Baptist Temple where their son, Travis, serves as pastor. They also enjoy working in their yard and garden, spending time in the outdoors and family gatherings.

The DECKERs will be celebrating later this summer with a family dinner along with their son Vincent DECKER and his wife Tricia, son Travis DECKER and his wife Colleen, daughter Tessa LEET and her husband Tim and their eight grandchildren.
