FULLERTONs to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

E. Richard "Dick" and Anna CROCKETT FULLERTON, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly from the Fairfield area, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1-4 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Ashford Park Clubhouse in Mt. Pleasant.

All friends and family are invited. No gifts are requested. Cards can be sent to 1707 E. Ashford Ave., Mt. Pleasant 52641.

Edward Richard FULLERTON and Anna Marie CROCKETT were married Oct. 2, 1966, at the New London United Presbyterian Church.

They have three sons, Daniel and his wife Alysia FULLERTON of Grimes, Jon FULLERTON of Des Moines, and James FULLERTON of Iowa City. They also have two granddaughters.

Mr. FULLERSON (sic) worked for the 224th Engineer Battalion in Fairfield from 1973 until 1977 and for the 34th Army Band from 1977 until moving to the Des Moines area in 1986. The FULLERTON family lived in the Richland, Packwood and Fairfield communities during those years.

After moving to the Des Moines area in 1986, they lived there for many years before their retirement in 2004. After spending nearly 40 years in the military, they returned to New London and lived there for many years before moving to their current home in Mt. Pleasant.
