Card shower planned for BURNSes' anniversary

Floyd and Auerlie BURNS of Fairfield will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary Aug. 9.

Mr. BURNS worked for Fairfield Engineering, then Northside Bootery. Mrs. BURNS worked in the meat department of the Fairfield Hy-Vee. They also have been longtime members of First Baptist Church in Fairfield.

The couple requests no gifts, but cards would be welcome. A card shower is planned to help them celebrate. Cards can be sent to 504 E. Fillmore Ave., Fairfield 52556.
