Page 2PEDRICKs celebrate 60th wedding anniversary
Robert and June PEDRICK of Keosauqua will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday.
Robert PEDRICK and June ROLLINS were married Sept. 10, 1955, at the Congregational Church in her hometown of Bingham, Maine. A reception was held later in Iowa at the Douds school gymnasium. They had met in Boston, Massachusetts, while he was stationed there with the U.S. Navy and she was working at Fisher Junior College.
The PEDRICKs have spent the past 60 years working together at Pedrick Funeral Homes in Douds and Keosauqua and participating in many church and community activities.
They have two children, daughter Kathleen HUMBLE and husband Monte of rural Birmingham and son James PEDRICK and wife Gwen of Douds. They also have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The PEDRICKs visited Maine this summer and will celebrate with family in September.
