Page 2ALTHAUSes celebrating 50th wedding anniversary
Michael and Alice ALTHAUS of Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house from 2-4 p.m. April 11 in Fairfield's AmericInn Hotel and Suites' banquet room.
Michael Ed ALTHAUS and Alice Marie FORINASH were married April 15, 1965, at the Chapel in the Cayon in Chatsworth, California. They lived in Canoga Park, Inglewood and Van Nuys in California, where Mr. ALTHAUS worked for Air Research and at Ralph's as a meat cutter, and Mrs. ALTHAUS worked for the United States Postal Service. They moved to Fairfield in 1978. He worked at Packwood Locker, Rockwell International and retired from Meritor in 2001, and she retired from the USPS in 2013.
They have two daughters, Ronda PECH and husband Mario of Knoxville, and Michelle "Shelley" HUME and husband Jeff of Edgerton, Missouri. t\ (sic) They also have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
